There are a lot of popular shopping destinations in Singapore, such as Orchard Road, Suntec City, Chinatown, Little India, etc. When you are in Singapore, you will never run out of places to shop.

Every year, there is a Great Singapore Sale (GSS), which starts from late May and ends at early July. During this period, almost all major shopping malls and boutiques offer discounts for their goods and services. Some boutiques can offer discounts as high as 75%. Shopping in Singapore never gets boring. Singapore is well-known for its shopping experience. There are many popular shopping destinations in this red little dot, such as Orchard Road, Chinatown, Suntec City and Sim Lim Square. Now, let me highlight 5 popular shopping centres in Singapore that you cannot afford to miss.

1. Orchard Road. When you head down to Orchard Road, you can see the streets are crowded with shoppers. You can see many branded boutique signs such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren at major entrance of shopping malls. At Orchard Road, there is a wide collection of goods for sale, from the latest fashion apparels to accessories. Orchard is extremely famous for both locals and tourists. Recently, Singapore’s most luxurious shopping mall, ION, opened along Orchard. ION is a well-designed mall and you can find almost all major boutiques there.
